Descended from a highly coveted, transparent-sounding overdrive circuit from the 1990s, the Goldenface produces a responsive, tone-heightening clipping that’s guaranteed to thrust your amp into beautiful saturation. That said, it improves upon the original circuit by offering lower noise, enhanced note articulation, extra gain, and boosted headroom. This overdrive pedal is powered by a standard 9-volt power supply — it does not run on batteries.
